Visio 2000 : Error (100)

I have Visio 2000 with the latest updates installed.
My PC crashed while the visio document was open.
Now when I open the document, I get an error message "An
error (100) occurre during the action Open File. Visio can
not open the file because it's not a Visio file." And I
could not open the file. I try deleting the temperory file
from the directory, dosent help.

Please let me know how do I recover my currepted file.

I'm sorry, but I believe that your document is no longer recoverable. There
is a way to prevent this from happening in the future though. Please go to
the following link and apply the patch mentioned in the article:
