Visio 2000 incompatibility

I just upgradedto windows XP Professional, now it is
telling me that my Visio Version is not compatible. Is
there a fix, or do I have to get a new version?

Thanks

That's a misleading message (I wish MS would reconsider how they word such
things). What they mean is that it's not officially tested/supported on
that platform. Others have reported it runs just fine for them. Have you
tried just ignoring it to see if Visio will actually run?

I'm running (pre-MS) Visio 4.1 and MS Visio 2000 on WinXP Prof with no
problem.

I have Visio 4.1, 5.0, and the MS versions 2000, 2002... Out of all of
them, I find the version 5 to be the most useful and productive.

Visio 5 will run on Win XP, although it does give you the message that it's
not compatible. I'm not sure about 4.1, I haven't tried it since upgrading
to XP...
