I don't use Visio much and am creating an Org Chart. I used the "Reports To"
feature in the Wizard to help provide initial organization of employees. Now
I'm replacing the connectors with more direct connectors and reorganization
in order to fit a large number of employees on 1 page. This breaks the
automatic organization but is understood by the people using the chart. The
problems is that once I had all my tweaking done, I saved the chart and
closed yesterday. Today I opened the file and everything was all over the
page - not even in any logical order as I had broken relationships. How can I
turn off this "feature" now to save it the way I want?
I'd also like to know how to stop things from jumping when I do things like
Group, Backspace, etc. I position things the way I want, then want to group
them so they stay that way. But after I select them and click on Group, at
least one of the items is now out of line. I've turned off all Snap and Glue
checkboxes, but this seems like more of a bug than a feature. Things
shouldn't move on Group.
Thanks for the help.
