Visio 2000 - Precisely measuring objects

Hardip

As a new user I'm trying to measure a wall but dragging doesn't provide the
correct level of accuracy.

Isn't there a method where I can draw a wall and specify its length as 10"
as opposed to dragging?

Would appreciate your input.

TIA to all who respond,
H

Does View > Window > Size & Position work for the walls? It works in Visio
2003, but you've got a different version.

In 2002, the "Size and Position Window" will let you specify both the
sized and the position exactly. It can be opened several ways:

1. View | Size and Position Window
2. Right-click object | View | Size and Position Window
3. Click the Size and Position Window icon (three arrows, X,Y,Z).
