Hello,
I have Visio 2002 for Enterprise Architects installed on my machine (it came
with Visual Studio .Net 2003).
I have now installed Visio 2003 Professional as well, choosing to install it
alongside Visio 2002, rather than upgrade. The installation program implied
there would be no problem doing this, but I am now finding that both Visio
versions need to go through a time consuming reconfiguration/reinstallation
step before they will start. Honestly, it makes you wonder whether anybody
at Microsoft actually bothered to test whether the two were compatible.
So my questions are:
1. Is it possible to get the two to run properly, without them corrupting
each other?
2. If not, is it possible to use the 'enterprise architect' features of
Visio 2002 with Visio 2003, and if so, how would I do this?
Thank you for any help.
