Visio 2002 Automatically restarting after exit

Why would Visio 2002 automatically restart after exit/close? I can not stop
this behavior, even if I use Task Manager to manually stop/start. I have to
restart my system in order for it stop the behavior.

(Windows Professional SP2 operating system with latest updates; Office 2003
Professional also installed w/latest updates applied)

Any ideas would be appreciated.

I have exactly the same problem...
It seems that this site is sleeping and nobody is interrested in replying
poor guys like us having problems with Microsoft Visio stuff...
It's really boring to be stuck with this problem...

I'm sure someone will help soon, everyone on this newsgroup (this is a
newsgroup not a website) is a
volunteer or just interested in Visio, very few people here reply here
on an official basis.

I had the same problem....
just after installing Adobe Acrobat 7 Pro (PDF Maker) I found this
problem
and then I tried to solve it by "visio /r" and also choosing repair
from add/remove program, but those things didn't help me, and at the
end I tried to remove visio complately and install it again and my
problem solved.
