Visio 2002 closes down unexpectingly

Visio 2002 Sp3 -
Windows Xp Pro - Sp2
Office 2003 Pro -

When you navigate to open a particular visio file Visio will close down - no
error message - just close down.
The same happens when you browse the directory and open via explorer.
No spyware found on the machine - note this is happening to about 10 machines.
All Dell Latitude Laptops.
Note: Office 2003 and Visio have been reinstalled with all updates applied.
The machines have been rebuilt with the same result.
Anybody come accross this behaviour?

Something must be corrupted in the file, which is a major bummer. Do you
have an older version of the file?

I'd be willing to take a look at it, if it's not full of super-sensitive
info.

Chris,

This is not 1 particular visio file - it's more random, as each person has
different files on there local disk - this also happens on the network.

I'm not too knowledgable about printer driver issues, but it seems a lot of
times the really weird crashers are related to badly written print drivers.
At least this was the case in the past. Might be something to investigate -
are all the crashes set to the same printer? Or something along those
lines...
