We are running VISIO 2002 on WIN NT service pack 6. When opening files
previously created with VISIO 2002 or with VISIO 4 the original file is
sometimes corrupted (erased). For example, a VISO 2002 file that was 300k
was opened and immediatley reduced to a 9k file. It is a random event and is
not always repeatable. If an identical copy of the original file is opened 5
minutes later it may appear and work fine.
Yesterday I worked with various VISIO 2002 files for eight hours, then at
4:30 several that I opened were instantly erased.
This problem is occurring on several machines and with several users.
Any help would be most appreciated.
