Visio 2002 large drawing print problem

Hi,

We need to print large drawing (3570mm x 597mm) from Visio 2002 on Ricoh RW
470 plotter. By default, any predefined paper size were too small and it is
not possible set custom size. We following instruction by Microsoft “How to
Create Custom Forms in Windows NT 4.0 and Windows 2000â€
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/157172/EN-US/ and create some custom size
paper we need. We then successful print drawing with length about 2500mm, but
now we need to print larger drawing and we have problem – when we select
paper size more than 3000mm (we set predefined sizes from 1.5m to 5m length
with step 0.5m), the Printer Paper value become negative and so printing
impossible. The printer itself can print documents up to 6m, we also check
our big predefined paper sizes in other application (f.e. AutoCAD) – all
works fine. So, as we can see, the problem is in Visio.

Can you help to resolve this problem?

Have you tried making a 1/2 size "drawing", plotting that, then run it
through the copier and enlarge to 2x?
