Installing Brazilian-Portuguese Visio 2002 SR1 on Brazilian WindowsXP SP1
produces a Visio installation that is unable to spell check in
Brazilian-Portuguese.
When creating a text box and entering a Brazilian word, the use of the spell
check identifies the word as incorrectly spelt. Entering an English word,
the spell checker identifies the word as spelt correctly.
Using the Microsoft Office Language settings tool to set the correct
language makes no difference.
We can mark individual words as Brazilian and then the spell check will
correctly identify the language, but we would prefer not to have to mark
each word individually to spell check the document.
This problem does not exist with Italian Visio 2002 SR1 on Italian Windows
XP SP1.
