Visio 2002 versus 2000

At home I'm working with Visio 2002 but at the office we
work with Visio 2000. I'm unable to open a file which I
made at home in Visio 2002 at the office since my version
is newer than the one we have at work. I'm also unable to
save a project in Visio 2000.
Is there any possibility to open these files in Visio
2000?

Visio 2000 and Visio 2002 have the same binary file format, so you should be
able to share files between the versions. However, Visio 2002 also
introduced an alternative XML file format. This would not be understandable
by Visio 2000. Make sure you are saving with the VSD extension. There is
no option to save back as Visio 2000 because the file formats are identical.

Note that Visio 2003 introduced a change to both the binary and XML formats,
so you would have to do a Save As Visio 2002/2000 for those files to be
readable by older versions.
