visio 2003 and office xp

I have Office XP pro installed on my machine with Windows XP Pro. I had
Visio 2000 installed with no problems and recently purchased Visio 2003.
After installing Visio 2003, I try to open Visio and get the message "The
operating system is not presently configured to run this application." I
have installed SP1 for visio. When I try to install the other office updates
I can then not open any office products because I get an error about the
application not being installed for the current user.

Anyone know how I can fix this?
