Visio 2003 and windings problem

Michael Byrnes

1. If you crate a simple bulleted text in Visio 2003, using the built-in bullets, then

2. Copy drawing or copy a specific part of the drawing

3. Paste as picture, or visio object in Word 2003, the bullets either: (a) do not copy over, or (b) a different set of bullets copy over, typically a narrow box, for the null character.

4. A work-around for this is to. use character map and copy a character from any TTF font other than wingdings, and everything copies fine.

I have tried to modify the wingdings TTF, but this does does not work.

I have tried using an older version of wingdings, but this too does not work.

Any creative ideas?

Hello,
Try paste as Enchanced Metafile in Visio and in Word.
Copy from Visio and paste as Paste special in Word.
