It sounds like there are some components missing or you have a bad install
of the product. If you have any add-ons for Visio you may want to try
disabling them. When Visio is installed make sure you use the administrator
profile and disable your anti-virus application. If you feel comfortable
with event logs you could review the log to see what applications are
triggering activity, look for errors in regards to Office or Visio 2003.

Everytime I close Visio 2003, it automatically restarts. Even if I Cntl,
Alt,
Del and end the process, it restarts. Not until I shut down the computer
will
it finally die.
