Hi,
I've worked with an ordinary Visio 2003 file for some time
now and today when I was going to save the file Visio
crashed and I lost the whole days work. I re-opened the
file, perfomed the work again and saved the file. Again,
Visio crashed and now I can't open the file at all.
I can still start Visio and work with other files but not
this specific one - the one that matters. I've used the
Detect and repair function, and tried to re-install the
latest update, update the OS (WinXP), defrag the HDDs,
searched for viruses, etc., but without any success.
I've also tried to copy the content of the file into a new
file, through the Insert - Object - From file function,
and to open the file itself as a copy, both unsuccessfully.
....numerous re-starts, so on and so forth.
The file has either, as far as I understand it, become
corrupt, or my installation of Visio 2003 is especially
unstable.
Has someone else encountered this problem and if so, how
did you get around it?
Best regards
