Visio 2003 drawing control is very slow.

Hi everybody,
It looks like the drawing control is extraordinary slow.
After I load some drawing to Visio 2003 drawing control, when I try to move
one of the shapes with mouse it takes ~10-15 seconds before
the view gets updated. The same drawing in the visio performs fast enough.
What could it be?
The newsgroup looks like my very last hope.

Hi, Sergey: That performance should not be happening with the drawing
control. We are seeing the same performance in the control as in the client
for the drawing, which makes sense since we are using the same underlying
libraries and application object. Can you zip up the drawing and post it? I
can take a look at it to repro the problem.

Hi, Sergey: I'm sorry for the late response. It looks like you are running
into a control performance issue around gradient fills. The work-around is
to replace all shapes with a gradient fill with non-gradient shapes. Does
that work in your solution?
