I've downloaded and successfully installed Visio 2003 Evaluation Edition but
am unable to activate it (and thereby get full functional access) via the
Internet - I suspect that corporate security settings at my end are to blame
however there's nothing I can do to get round that I'm afraid.
When trying to activate over the Internet, Visio reports "The Activation
Wizard is unable to find a connection to the Internet. Please make sure that
your connection is working properly and then retry activation in a few
minutes." This even happens when I have an active Internet connection
established to the Microsoft web site.
What's more, I suspect because I am a UK user, the option to activate the
software by telephone is unavailable. I've e-mailed moseval but the
autoresponse hints that I may not get a resolution from that source. Does
anyone know if I can get an activation code by any other means? Maybe one
can be e-mailed to me, but who should I send this request to? I'd be
grateful for any advise.
Cheers
