VISIO 2003. How to make "straight connector" a default connector .

I prefer using straight connectors in my UML diagrams. However I couldn't see
a way to make "straight connector" a default style. Consequently every time I
place a connector to my diagram I have to right-button and change it's style
to "straight". Extremely annoying.
Any hints?

It didn't work: the connecter is shown as a straight line while you are
dragging it from the Shapes panel to the diagram, but it still ends up as an
angled connector in the diagram... Is it the way you do it, or you meant
something different?

thanks

1. Open the page shape sheet by clicking on an empty spot on the page and
choosing Window->Show Shape Sheet from the menu bar

2. In the Page Layout section, set the RoutStyle cell = 2
(visLORouteStraight)

3. Close the shape sheet. All new connectors added to the page will be
straight lines.

If you double-click on the RouteStyle cell you will see a drop-down of all
the available routing styles.

OH!!!! You are using the "angled connector" tool. Use the "Line" tool. It's
under the "drawing" toolbar.

Make sure you un-click before you release shift.
