Visio 2003: "Insert Picture"-Dialog - selected "Views" not saved

U

Udo

Hello,

when I select a different view-setting via the "Views"-button, this
setting is not saved. So next time all pictures are shown again as
Thumbnails. Any solution?

Thanks and greetings
Udo

Hi Udo,

It looks like Visio assumes you want to look at the pictures you want to
insert and doesn't remember your setting. I tried changing the setting in
Explorer to see if that made any difference. And I have Windows set to
remember Explorer views. It didn't help.

We might be out of luck on this one. A keyboard shortcut utility could help
you though -

This gets you to where you need to be:

Alt + I, P, F, Tab (4x), Left Arrow (5x), Down Arrow( ? x), Enter

Hope this helps,

Hello again Chris,

is this a bug or only a deficiency? To be more specific - I'm using
speech recognition and that'sexactly the way I solved it.

BTW, there is one other problems with short cuts:
- All tabbed dialogs seem not to work with CTRL+TAB-Sendkey
commands

Thanks and greetings
Udo
