Hello - I've been using Visio for about a year now to create organization
charts, and it's been working fine up until recently. We store all org
information in excel, import the data in, export it back out to another file,
and have an excel macro that updates the appropritae Visio properties, then
we run the Visio Database Wizard to link back to the updated excel file to
display the shape properties. Our organization has been growing very fast,
and we now store over 600 records (675 to be exact) in our database. And
when I run the org chart now, everything works fine, the import, export,
excel macro update,etc. It's when I run the Database Wizard in Visio to link
back to our file, I find that about 60 shapes are not being updated, not
linking back to the database. is there a limitation as to how many records we
can store in a database that Visio will link back to? Any suggestions? when
I delete about 100 records, things update fine. It seems to be a memory or
capacity issue. Thoughts?
