Visio 2003 - Printing length of walls with Building Floor Plan.

Hi,
I have drawn a floor plan with Visio 2003, I am drawing the plan with a
scale and I am able to set the width of the walls as I draw (or via the wall
properties too) and if I select a wall, it does display the size (i.e. 60 ft.
2 in., etc) but once it's unselected the size is hidden. Unfortunately the
width's are not getting printed when I print the plan, is this the expected
behaviour? Since I need to submit this plan to the county office for approval
it needs to show the width's on the plan, I don't want to manually place
label's etc to show the width's (would be a pain to redo them if I have to
make any changes). I have tried the Layer's property and select the "#"
column, but it gets unselected once I click ok.
Is there a way to get the width's to print along with the plan directly?
Thanks in advance for your response/comments, I really appreciate it.

If you right click on the wall, the pop-up menu has an entry: add a
dimension. That should provide a printable dimension feature.

BTW, you can click a 2nd time to bring up a 2nd dimension line. You can then
grab an end and drag it to dimension the wall thickness. Either that or go
to File > shapes > General - dimensioning Archtectural or Engineering. Each
has a variety of dimension shapes, which allows you to set precision, units,
etc.

Thanks WapperDude, that's exactly what I was looking for, actually I had
added that when I initially started drawing the plan, but thought that it
might cause more cluter hence removed it, didn't realise that's how we can
get the dimensions to print (still a newbee :) ).
