Visio 2003 pro sp2 and bullets problem

There still seems to be a problem when pasting a visio chart which contains
text with bullets into Word: the bullets either are missing, or are
corrupted.

I just did a clean install of Win XP pro sp2, all updates applied, Office
2003 sp2 -- hoping MS would have solved this problem over the past 2 years.
But no.

I am curious why MS still has a problem with this?
