I have created a rectangle in visio that is linked to an exce
spreadsheet for height, width, x and y position, etc. Inside th
shapesheet for the rectangle object, I have linked PinX and PinY t
linked cell data. Since I want the rectagle to be free to move in the
direction and not the X direction, I have put 0 as the value in th
LockMoveY cell from the Protection Section. LockMoveX cell continues t
have a value of 1.
The problem is that despite my efforts to allow on Y movements by th
user, when the rectangle is moved both the PinX and PinY cells ge
modified by the new actual position of the rectangle rather than onl
the PinY changing to a value while the PinX maintaining the formula tha
was entered.
Is there a way to lock the shapesheet cell so that no matter what, th
cell will maintain the equation that is in it
