Visio 2003 - Smooth Drawings Settings Disabled

Hi

A number of settings on the View tab within the Options window are disabled
within Visio 2003. This includes the Smooth Drawings setting. This is not the
case on other pcs using Visio 2003. Any ideas on why this is disabled?

By "disabled" do you mean unchecked or grayed out (unavailable)? I've seen
Live Meeting desktop sharing sessions cause the settings 'Smooth drawing'
and 'Higher quality shape display' to uncheck and the Text quality setting
to change to 'Faster text display (aliased)'. We also use a tool in
customer support called Easy Assist which is a remote assistance version of
Live Meeting that I've seen do the same thing. It changes the desktop to
plain for better refresh rate when viewing remotely but I'm not sure why it
changes those settings. Something to do with display settings, but nothing
I can find in the Windows UI.
