Visio 2003 to Adobe 6

I was doing fine with converting Visio 2002 with Adobe 4 to pdf under XP Pro
(Straight-forward 8.5x11 sized drawings, mostly text, four pages per file.

Upgraded to Viso 2003 and Adobe 6 and the conversion is a now a mess - objects misplaced, missized, wrong fonts, etc

Tried to undo upgrades and go back to V2002 and A4 but somehow cannot do it - registry messed up or something

Help. Anybody. Ideas?
