Visio 2007 cannot search for shapes

Visio 2007 on Vista Business x64 cannot search for shapes.
It tries for a bit, then Vista decides that Visio has hung, and it kills the
process!

The issue has been reported elsewhere but I have not yet seen a resolution.
Can you confirm that it works for you or does not work?
