I am using Visio to mock-up a web page. I have to share the .vsd file and
would like it to be intuitive for those receiving it.
I have discovered that pressing ctrl-K will allow me to add a link to
another page in the file. Unfortunately, it does not work like you would
expect. I have to right-click and select the target from the context menu.
Although I can see some use for this, it is counter intuitive and I can't
expect people that I share this document with to figure that out. To them
it will simply appear that the hyperlinks don't work.
I see that there is an option to double-click and get the effect but that
isn't quite intutitive either.
When I publish as a web page, the links break - even with the "use relative
path" checked.
Publishing as pdf works better and I can distribute that way if necessary
but I would keep it as a .vsd.
Isn't there a way to add a hyperlink and have it behave the way a hyperlink
should behave?
Thanks, bob
