After a save (or autosave), all of the "undo" data disappears. Please fix.

FYI: this has always been the case. I don't kow the decision behind this,
but Save has always cleared the undo buffer.

2000 and 2003 don't do so, at least, not with my settings here.

Strange, but on my machine this also does NOT happen (Visio 2003 and
2007)
I mean, the undo list is NOT cleared on save, and you can undo after
save.

Am I missing something?

Just the save file does not clear undo.
But, if you close the saved file and reopen, undo might be find cleared.
It might be the same to all versions.

Hi folks,

The answer is "it depends on the situation". When Visio saves a file, it
performs some clean-up actions on the in-memory data structures before
writing them out. Some of these clean-up actions are not undoable, so Visio
flushes the undo queue. This behavior has been in the product for several
releases. It happens that some of the new features in Visio 2007 trigger
the non-undoable clean-up more than in the past.
