I've upgraded Visio 5.0 on Windows NT 4.0 to Windows XP to Visio 2002; in
that order.
My Windows XP machine has been replaced with another running Windows 7
Ultimate 64 but now I can't install Visio 2002 Upgrade because it can't find
a copy of Visio 5.0 already installed (it does not ask for the CD).
I can't install Visio 5.0 on Windows 7 Ultimate 64 with any of the different
compatibility options, so now I'm stuck.
With any luck at all, Visio 2007 Upgrade will ask for the previous Visio CD
instead of requiring that it is actually installed. But I'm not sure I
really want to upgrade; I use only the UML modeling sporadically (once a
year or so).
Has anyone successfully upgraded from Visio 5.0 to Visio 2002 on Windows 7 64?
