Visio 5 Technical Upgrade

We've been running Visio Technical for a number of years on
Windows 98, now we are running 2000 Pro. We want to upgrade
to a current version to give us capability of reading and
writing to later versions of AutoCad. Does MS offer
upgrades? Our primary use is to create architectural plans.
Any suggestions?

With Visio 2002, Visio Technical was dropped. The content that made Visio
Technical unique has been added to Visio Professional. Later this year,
Visio 2003 will be released and you may want to wait to upgrade.

For architectural plans you will need Visio Professional rather than Visio
Standard.
