VISIO 5 upgrades

We have VISIO 5, and we have machines that have win xp,
but it won't run on xp, and we were wondering if there
were any upgrades, or if you had to purchase a newer
version, like 2000, or 2003, in order for VISIO to
function on xp. Thank you.

You should be able to run Visio 5. The installation messages can be
ignored.

Up until last November, you could upgrade from Visio 5, but with the release
of Visio 2003 last October, the oldest version of Visio that now qualifies
for an upgrade is Visio 2000.
