i have office 2000. when i go into word and click tools then marcos then
visio basic editor i am in visio basic v.6.3. how do i get into visio basic
w/o going into word? Do i really have visual basic?

well, yes and no. You have Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) which is
available with the MS office suite, you do not have VB (from visual studio).
You also don't have VB.NET from VS.NET.
