Visio Activated... Trying to work in it...

I have just activated my Trial version of Visio 2003, when I go into it, most
of the toolbars are 'greyed out' and I can't start a new diagram. I assumed
with a trial version it would allow me to work with it as if it's a full
version until the trial-period runs out? :)
