i'm italian (and therefore sorry for my bad english...).

i installed Visual Studio 2003 for Enterprise Architect (italian version) together with Visio 2003 (for Enterprise Architect).

i would use the visio activex control in my next windows application, but i can't find it on my computer.

is this possible or made i something wrong during installation?
can i, howewer, get the visio activex control elsewhere?

thank you all in advance
niko

I have been looking for the same question ....and even more, I'm a little
bit confused.......

Same as Niko I do have MSVisio2003Arch version. So what I would like to
know first is:

1.
What MSVisio2003 offers as an ActiveX :
a. MSVisio2003 as an environment OR
b. Our custom drawing documents can be exported as ActiveX-es
2. If MSVisio can be imported as an COM object where is it's file (OCX ?)
(the only thing registred is VisioModelingEngine). Is this what I'm
looking for ?

Ghenz.
Ciao a tutti

PS:
Extending Visio 2003 for developers

ActiveX control Visio 2003 makes Visio available as an ActiveX
control, so you can preserve the unity of your host application's design.
You can tightly constrain drawing functionality to just what is required by
your host application, and your host application controls the user
interface.

Visual Studio Enterprise Architect Edition 2003 is based on the Visio 2002
product. A future release of Visual Studio will include the Visio 2003
product. Meanwhile, you must have Microsoft Office Visio 2003 to get the
ActiveX control.
