visio and project differences

My school is offering a special for students to get either Office 2003
Professional Visio or Office 2003 Professional Project and all i want to know
is the difference between the two and the website can't help me with that.

Don't know what web site you were looking at. Microsoft's web sites on
these products are very explanatory. If you can't understand from the
web site about each program, then you may wish to consider getting
neither one of them as they are too advanced for you.

Visio is a diagramming tool. Project is a tool for doing computations
about project schedules it is complex and requires training/knowledge
first introduced at university and post-graduate levelss.
