Visio and Visio Viewer Question

J~

I am trying to open a VSD file but it has characters after the .VSD

example
test.vsd@@/red/template

I can't seem to open it but I know others at work can. I am trying to
figure this out, anybody out there have any idea of what is going on? I
have downloaded the newest Viewer ( as of last week) incase that was
problem but did not help me.

We are a small company with no real help desk to ask.

thanks,
J~

Visio and the Visio Viewer will only open files with legitimate 3 character
extensions to my knowledge.

Ok, after a bit of work here is what I know:

visio 2000 does not mind the "@@\red\blue" addition to end of file
Visio 2002+ does have a problem with it.

I have done full local installs in all cases, any ideas of what might
have change between 2000 and 2002/2003 that would stop if form working?

thanks,
J~
