I editied a Visio file written in version 5, and saved the file as a Visio
2000 version. Later, when I attempted to open the file, placing the mouse
pointer over the filename in Explorer caused the following error message:
Explorer.exe - Application Error
The instruction at 0x77af6d03 referenced memory at 0x04f3df74. The memory
could not be read.
When I clicked on OK, Explorer closed. I repeated the procedure, that is I
opened the original Visio 5 file, made my changes, and saved in Visio 2000
format. I then opened Explorer, placed the mouse pointer over the filename,
and got the same error.
I have other files that converted just fine, which were similar to the
problem file.
I tried to delete the file from a DOS shell using the del command, and DOS
tells me it can't find the file. Yet the filename is there!
So, I can't delete the file from either Windows or DOS.
What could be going on here?
Thanks in Advance!
