visio coexistence

hi I have visio 2000 and visio 2003 installed, but each time
I open a file with visio 2000 and then later with visio 2003
visio 2003 installation starts and get "please wait while windows configures
visio 2003... etc"

can this be avoided ? I'd like to be able to quickly switch between opening
with 2000 and
2003.

unfortunately it happens on mine as well and appears to be normal,

This is normal and documented in knowledge base article 298947 "How to run
multiple versions of Visio" http://support.microsoft.com/kb/298947/en-us

This cannot be avoided.
