visio colors

Hi all,

Color documents I create in Visio 2003 bear little resemblance to the color
on the printed document. For example, "dark blue" comes out more of a light
blue. Perhaps it is the printer, but maybe there is a way to set the colors a
different way within Visio?

Thanks

Jeff

Hi Jeff

If the print preview is ok then this is most likely a printer driver issue
download the latest printer driver if possible
If this doesn't help I would try to copy the visio object into another
office application and check if the print goes correctly from there
Or save the visio object in another picture format like .jpg and bring it in
visio
You can also try to group the whole drawing and then print it out
Apart from that in format/fill you can define the different settings
do you use custom colors?
you have 3 color model RGB, HSL and the visio standard colors 0-23
do you see a difference between the three?
do you use patterns?
does the usage of transparency make a difference?
does the line weight makes a difference?
If you print it to a file are the colors correct?
