Visio Connection Point Tool

The Visio Help and the Text I'm using say that I should be able to change the
direction of a connection point by rotating the "Green Arrow" (Connection
Point Vector). I can't see a green arrow. Is there a setting that needs to
be changed?

Hi Lewis,

The green arrow feature was removed at some point -- I think around Visio
2002 -- due to potential lawsuits. It was too similar to another projects
UI, evidently, but I don't rightly remeber all the details of this soap
opera.

I've created a tool that used shapes and a bit of VBA code to mimic this
feature. The code places an "arrow shape" over every connection point on a
selected shape. You can then rotate the "connection-point-tool shapes" to
get the settings you desire, then just delete the tool-shapes.

Have a look here:

Thanks for the assist. This has been driving me mad for a couple of days
now! I thought I had turned something setting check mark off by accident.
