[Perplexed About Adding Connection Points]

How do I add connection points (the x's on the shape) to a shape?

I have a connection point tool , that allows a "connector tool" and a
"connection point tool". There is even a menu which allows lines, boxes,
and an item label "X" which reports as a "connection point tool"

However, I can not figure out how to create a new connection point on a shape.

However, I can not figure out how to create a new connection point on a shape.

Select the connection point tool and then click on the part of the
shape where you want the connection point.
Or select the shape, then menu Window -> Show Shapesheet and add
connection points, relative to the shape's geometry.

Click on the arrow of the connector tool to reveal the Connection Point Tool.

Select the object you want to add the connection point to

Control/Left Click at the location on the object were you want to add the
point
(You can select and move the point if you need to)

Right click on the point and choose 'Inward' or 'Outward' depending if the
connection will originate here or end here.
