Visio corrupts when imported into word 2007 doc

When I import using from file in word 2007, some, not all of the imported
files (process flow maps) have corrupted during the transfer, with connectors
pointing the wrong way?

Is there a solution, workaround for this. I've replaced the visio imports
with pdf versions, but the graphics aren't as clear.

Instead of using Import>from file, try Copy>paste special>as Visio Drawing.
This will only work for one page at a time if your file has multiple pages.
