Visio custom properties defined

I defined my Visio custom property labels using strings as the type in a
certain order. Now when I view that custom properties the defined labels are
in alphabetical order. What do I do to keep them in the order as I set them
up? Many Thanks.

AFAIK visio displays custom properties in the order they are added to the
shape sheet, with one caveat. The custom property row has a 'sort field'
that visio uses to keep 'like' parameters together. One trick is to put a
letter in this field as the order indicator (i.e. a = first, b=second, etc.)
