Visio Data base from drawings to link together

I have a question hopefully someone can answer.

I have several drawings of our network. I developed one diagram to house all
the internal info ( Properties ) . Mangement wants all of our diagrams now to
house all internal info / parts list. How can I create a single database to
link to all of our properties to the various drawings so I can update them
from there.

Hopefully this makes sense.

one of the first decisions you have to make when doing the drawing vs.
database repository decisions is which is going to be the master (i.e. who
really keeps the information). If your intent is to 'push' the data from the
database to the drawings then the 'application' doing the pushing is going
to have to know which objects are within which documents (files). The
alternative of course is to use something like the database wizard in visio
to query the database for updates. Understand that this means something is
going to have to trigger the document to query/update the database when the
document is changed (a slightly less daunting piece of development work).
Short version try using the DB wizard to see if it meets your needs.
