Visio download manager not working

I downloaded MS download manager to get a trial version of MS Visio 2007.
Unfortunately the download manager does not download the actual program. The
download manager opens up, but shows zero progress. What to do?

You can try running the online trial version. Start here :
http://www.runaware.com/microsoft/en-us/2007office/td?action=launch_wizard
You should be prompted to select the applications to test.

The only other advice I would have is to close the IE browser and restart
the download.
