visio drawings don't print in black and white in PowerPoint

I am reworking my PP slides and am using Visio for a lot of the drawings.
The slides have a dark blue background so my lines and text were always white
or yellow. With the drawings done in PP, they looked good on screen and
printing handouts in pure black and white made the lines and text black with
no background, so this was good too.

When imbedding Visio drawings in the PP slides, the drawings always print in
grayscale even though the slides are printed in pure black and white.
Because of this, the text and lines from the drawings cannot be seen on the
printouts.

Is there a way to make the embedded visio drawings print in B&W as before or
another solution to make the slides look good on screen and also print
legibly?

Can you use the Obect Properties to change the Visio Drawings to Black and
White within the presentation?

Try going to View/Black and White and then right-click the Visio object,
select B/W settings, and see if changing the setting there helps.

My problem is that I want the on screen presentation in color, but I want to
print them in pure black and white. Changing each drawing before printing
would take too much time.

So I take it none of the B/W Settings options did the trick?
