Visio - I want to have an edit comment pop up associated with a s.

I want to associate an edit comment popup like in excel when I move over a
shape.
I need extra information associated with each box/shape and would like to
have a comment field pop up when I move over it. Has this been done before,
is there an option in Visio that enables this? Thanks.

how about insert => comment or insert => shape screen tip
both on the menu in v2003
