Visio Internal Error: #3400

Hello,

While opening the visio file i get the message :-

Visio internal error: #3400
Action 1283: Open File

First try closing and reopening the file. Next try restating Visio.

I had tried try but it is not working.
Does anyone know the resolution of it.

Hi Raina,

this is an error belonging to older visio versions
you either access file from a network share or you have saved the file to
external devices like floppy, usb stick or harddrvie
either not all the information has been saved proeprly and now when you open
the file it needs that information and you don' t have that information
or the file was saved along with stencils which are not on your system
in that case you could try to copy the stencils onto your machine and see if
that solves the error
otherwise I am afraid the error signals a unrepairable corruption

as last resort try opening the file in another office application like MS
