Visio not displaying....

I load a visio .vss drawing and all I get is the page and grid. Have tried
quite afew drawings that other say are fine.

Any idea?

A .vss file is a Visio stencil. These documents contain master shapes for
use in other drawings. While there is a drawing page in the stencil
document, it is typically blank. Go to File > Shapes > Show Document
Stencil to see the master shapes.

I guess I needed to give you more information. I am using the Visio 2003
Viewer that displays under IE. Again, just a page with grid.
