VISIO objects pasted in WORD

When I paste a VISIO 2003 object in WORD, and the VISIO object contains
symbol fonts, the symbol font does not show in WORD. Rather, the original or
default font in VISIO (in my case Arial) shows up in the objected pasted in
WORD. Has anybody experienced this before? Is there a work around?

I am having the same problem. It's a huge pain to work around and I need an
answer to this. The work-around I use is to add an equation object (which
have their own host of problems - every time you save they revert to their
default size), copy it, and paste-special as an image.
